Description:
Blueslice Networks is currently looking for a Junior HLR Software Designer to contribute to the development of software for its carrier-grade, ATCA-based Home Location Register and Home Subscriber Server. The ideal candidate is skillful with C++, STL, Linux OS, and multi-threading based design. Blueslice is looking for a motivated and creative individual who will ramp up quickly and who thrives in dynamic environments. The ability to work directly from specifications such as 3GPP is an asset. An understanding of carrier-grade and high-availability frameworks and applications as well as HLR transactions processing is also a plus.

Qualifications (musts):
- Bachelor or Masters in Computer Sciences or Engineering
- 0 - 3 years relevant experience
- C++, STL, Linux, multi-threading based design
- Ability to work directly from specifications, e.g. 3GPP
- Team player
- Creative
- Object oriented & design patterns
- Fluent in English, written & spoken
Qualifications (assets):
- Carrier-grade and High-availability frameworks and applications
- 2G / 2.5G, 3G, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) core network architecture and behavior
- Unit test tools
- Standard signaling protocols (SS7, SIP, Diameter, etc.)
- Fluent in French
