Description:

As a part of Blueslice's enthusiastic and talented team, the Field Support and Tester will be called upon to test and support customers' deployments of Blueslice's carrier-grade, ATCA-based Home Location Register and Home Subscriber Server. Blueslice is looking for a dynamic person with a solid understanding of GSM Mobile Networks and technologies and applications, and how they are being used and deployed in real world environments. The individual must have knowledge of SS7 protocol suite, Linux based environments and of Carrier Grade systems.

Qualifications (musts):

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering
• 0 - 8 years experience
• Linux based environments, carrier-grade and high-availability frameworks
• Willingness and ability to handle emergency support calls and to travel to customer sites
• Fluent in English spoken & written
• Team player
• Strong communication skills

Qualifications (assets):

• GSM Core Networks (HLR, MSCs/VLRs) - Hands-on experience with operation or testing of GSM core Network Elements
• SS7 protocol suite including GSM-MAP (Mobile Application Part)
• Test & Validation methodology (test strategy, plan, cases, etc.)
• Catapult test environment & scripting language
• Test automation tool development (scripting, programming, etc.)
• Signaling Protocols (SS7, SIP, Diameter)
• Fluent in French
