Job Purpose:

To support the sales team and product management team in all pre-sales activities, including tender preparation, pre-sales material and technical support in customer-facing engagements

Responsibilities:

• Act as “technical bid manager” for Request For Proposals (RFPs) received from prospect customers, organize kick-off meetings, maintain responsibility matrix, manage bid response timelines
• Prepare point-by-point technical responses to RFPs, using database of past responses and/or by obtaining responses from technical experts and product owners
• Compiles and maintain customer documentation for sales team by researching technical documents, interviewing of technical resources and compiling data into clear, easy to follow documents
• Prepares presentations, boilerplates and other pre-sales material for sales team and customers
• Work closely with Product Line Management and Sales team for knowledge transfer and sharing.
• Participate in pre-sales customer engagements
• Support the PLM team in analysis and creation of Feature Requirement Specifications for customer-specific custom requirements.

Qualifications:

• DEC or Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Technology/Computer Science
• One to five years experience
• Strong technical knowledge to comprehend detailed technical issues
• Customer service experience with exposure to and experience with presenting technical material to customers
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office
• Excellent English speaking & writing, French an asset
• Experience with Mobile Core Networks (HLR, MSCs/VLRs)
• Understanding of HLR/HSS products
• Knowledge of SS7, SIP and Linux OS assets
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
