HSS Software Designer

Blueslice Networks is currently looking for a HSS Software Designer to contribute to the development of Diameter based applications for its carrier-grade, ATCA-based Home Subscriber Server. The individual must have experience with design and implementation of carrier-grade core network nodes or SIP Servers and Applications. A deep knowledge of C++, Linux OS, multithreading, and networking, as well as an ability to understand complex telecommunications systems is essential. An understanding of 3G / IMS cellular core networks is a must and of 2G core networks is an asset.

Qualifications (musts):

• Bachelor, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 3 – 12 years relevant experience
• SIP
• Diameter
• VoIP
• SIP/IP Security (Firewalls, NATs, etc)
• C++, STL, Linux, multi-threading based design
• Ability to work directly from specifications, e.g. 3GPP
• 3G IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) core network architecture & behaviour
• Fluent in English, written & spoken

• 2G /2.5G Cellular core networks architecture and behavior
• GSM MAP protocol
• GSM OAM&P
• HSS, S-CSCF, I-CSCF
• RADIUS
• Carrier-grade and High-availability frameworks and applications
• Fluent in French
