IP Convergence TV Is Launched: A Unique Online Information Source Dedicated to VoIP, FMC and IPTV

Toronto, October 25, 2007 - An important new information resource has been launched for the communications industry. IP Convergence TV (http://www.ipconvergencetv.com) is an innovative web portal, the first online information source dedicated to the aggregation and dissemination of high-value, strategic content for decision makers and industry influencers in the area of IP communications, Fixed Mobile Convergence and IPTV. This non-profit, industry-wide initiative aims to deliver strategic value to the community and become a prime channel for IP convergence information and debate.

The objective of IP Convergence TV is to help service providers and industry professionals better understand the IP convergence opportunity and develop successful roadmaps and service offerings in a rapidly evolving market. IP Convergence TV includes latest information on trends and issues in IP convergence, and enables visitors to shape their own views and expertise thanks to industry analysis, thought leadership, opinion pieces and best practices guidance. Content addresses both wireline and mobile markets, and covers the full range of multimedia IP communications, including IP Telephony, Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC), Triple Play, Quad Play, IPTV and IMS applications. The information is available in the form of video interviews, opinion pieces, articles, white papers, podcasts and webinars.

IP Convergence TV is backed by a group of industry-wide players that currently include: AudioCodes, BEA, BitBand, Blueslice, Cicero, Comverse, Intel, Tilgin and Verimatrix. Experts in each of the companies join with other opinion makers, industry leaders, analysts and convergence gurus to contribute content to the website free of charge on a regular basis, with the purpose of creating a forum to advance discussion about and adoption of converged services and applications. To ensure the quality and consistency of the website content, Jon Arnold, an independent industry analyst, serves as Community Advocate and Portal Editor of IP Convergence TV.

This is a new approach that makes IP Convergence TV a unique destination for thought leadership and current developments as well as a forum for how service providers can benefit from convergence technologies.

"As a non-profit resource, IP Convergence TV brings clarity and real value to a space that needs a unifying voice", said Jon Arnold, Principal of J Arnold & Associates and Portal Editor of IP Convergence TV. "The benefit to the community will only grow as more partners join the project, contribute content and initiate debates."
