The Blueslice Converged Subscriber Platform 3000™ leverages its SIP Registrar and SIP Redirection Server entities to enable pre-IMS FMC solutions. This HLR/HSS and SIP based solution converges Authentication, Registration, and Call Termination across GSM/UMTS and SIP domains.
The end-user is able to set his or her call routing preferences; when registered on both GSM and SIP/VoIP networks, the subscriber can specify whether to route calls first to SIP or GSM. The CSP 3000™-based logic will determine the appropriate routing based on registration status and user preferences.
Blueslice implements FMC solutions in the core routing decision node of mobile networks, the HLR, as opposed to solutions that lie in peripheral network nodes. Further, Blueslice HLR/HSS-based FMC is 3GPP and IETF compliant. Supporting standard SIP, MAP, and ISC (IMS Service Control) interfaces, the Blueslice platform is also an IMS-compliant SIP Application Server, providing an enduring solution and protecting your investments.
