Platform for MVNO/MVNE Differentiation

Blueslice offers turnkey solutions to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) and Mobile Virtual Network Enablers (MVNEs). To ensure long term business success, it is essential for an MVNO to differentiate on service offering and to have the control over their subscriber base in order to do so. The long term viability of the MVNO business model is dependent on these two factors. With the Blueslice solution, MVNOs can offer their own advanced and differentiated services, to distinguish from other MVNOs and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). It also allows for a more efficient management of the MVNO subscriber base for provisioning, time to market, and service delivery. This enhanced HLR-based MVNO model ultimately results in higher ARPU and more usage minutes, benefiting both the MNO and MVNO. The Blueslice ngHLR 3000™ gives the service provider the flexibility to provision its own value added services, differentiate itself from competitors, and create a "buzz" around new applications:

Advanced low cost roaming solutions:

Subscribers can roam across borders on multiple networks without paying current roaming surcharges. The Blueslice solution also supports roaming for prepaid customers.

Multiple "virtual" numbers:

Subscribers can obtain multiple "virtual" numbers, in different area codes or countries, all of which reach the same device. Local numbers can also be dynamically and temporarily assigned to enable local calling while roaming.

MVNO-driven Fixed Mobile Convergence:

Blueslice MVNO solutions take the next step in the fixed-mobile convergence: facilitating subscriber profile management between cellular networks and IP-based wireless networks such as WiFi. Subscribers can access incoming and outgoing calls on a dual-mode GSM/WiFi device or on a separate device as preferred, such as an IP phone or PDA, no matter if they are within a low cost hotspot or within GSM coverage. Mobile services are offered at a lower cost for the consumer or with higher margins for the provider. As a growing number of handsets incorporate WiFi, users can take advantage of the exploding proliferation of hotspots, both public and private, to route lower cost voice calls.
