Blueslice Enacts Teaming Agreement with Alcatel to Target Mobile Carriers and Enhanced MVNOs (en anglais)

Montreal, Canada, August 7, 2006 - Blueslice Networks, the leading provider of multi-profile subscriber management solutions for the Mobile, VoIP, FMC, and M2M markets, announced today that they have enacted a teaming agreement with Alcatel to address the next gen core network requirements of mobile carriers and MVNOs. The combined solution of the Blueslice SIP-enabled HLR/HSS and the Alcatel NGN (Next Generation Network) provides all legacy functionality, but with greater flexibility, enabling mobile service providers to go to market quickly with differentiated features, consolidate their current network, and evolve to IMS.

Addressing the needs of carriers such as XIT Wireless, a US GSM operator, and MVNOs such as BT Infonet Mobile, a joint venture between British Telecom and Infonet Mobile based in The Netherlands, this next gen solution from Blueslice and Alcatel has been successfully deployed and proven in mobile networks worldwide.
